Chursächsische Salon Orchestra

The Ensemble

The Chursächsische Salon Orchestra was founded in 1993 as an ensemble of the Chursächsische Philharmonic. The group focuses mainly on the interpretation of entertaining works for classical Parisian salon orchestral instrumentation (violins, cello, upright bass, trumpets, clarinets, piano and percussion).

The current repertoire of the Chursächsische Salon Orchestra include the King Albert Theatre's "Johann Strauß Gala", the musical revue "Best of Broadway", the up-beat operette-palett of the "Robert Stolz Revue" and the popular "Paul Lincke Gala".  The orchestra's artistic direction is held by chamber musician Peter Kostadinov.
